Will 94 maristar 225 vrs fit on 06 230 trailer

I am purchasing a 94 maristar 225 vrs and the trailer is bad. Large rust through spot on tongue and other areas of trailer. Not comfortable towing 3 hrs back home. I have a neighbor with 06 tam trailer for his maristar 230 he is selling. Will this fit the 1994 225 at least enough to trailer home? Was hoping to purchase 06 trailer to replace other one. Any help appreciated!

My best guess, for just one 3 hour trip you should be okay. Length, width and capacity should be fine. I would bring some long pieces of old carpet in case you need to cushion the bunks better depending on where the boat sits on the bunks.
