Boat Lift Mfgr and Ideas

I am looking at putting in a lift - any suggestions or other experiences with boat lifts would be appreciated. What manafacturer(s) should I look at ? What about pulling it in the winter ? I am at a private lake so marina services are not an option. The water is fairly shallow at the dock area so tank based systems such as HydroHoist are probably no an option for me.

Thanks all !

I see you are in the Midwest . Check out Vibo marine in North Branch Minnesota . They manufacture their own lifts and make a very nice and reasonably priced product . We have owned their lifts for years without issues . One suggestion though . Get a power winch it makes life much easier .

I have a Lakeside lift. Reasonable price, good support, they have wheel packages but I have a buddy with a boom truck pull mine and set it with my dock every year. I have a steep bank though. They are out of mi.

Check out Basta Boat Lifts.

Both aluminum and galvanized steel. Their site has diagrams showing min. heights and lift extensions.
