realize this is an older post but Im going thru the same issues after rebuilding a 98 205. Crap in tank is slowly winding down. However, Moeller sent me a pick up that does not have the round screened pick up part and is just a straight tube. Where did you get that or do you know where to get it? thanks, Wingnut

I am reading this post late but I have to say I just took out my fuel pump filled with junk also... Larry at indmar was very helpful in adding insight. This post is awesome and very helpful. My pump was leaking so bad I had to use the shut off valve on the gas tank just to get the bugger off!
One month away from standing on the glass-
Now, new instal of Bilge Blower very quiet model with improvements added!
All we hear is engine rumble even with the blower on
