I was able to get a couple coats of oil on the swim platform this weekend and it sure does look great for the moment. I got one of the brackets on the transom for the SP sanded and painted. While I let the paint dry, I wet sanded one of my fenders and part of the transom in preparation for buffing. I also tried to remove my exhaust hose from the flange but had no luck. Not sure how to approach this.

That's exciting. It'll be like a new boat.

It has been a busy off-season for me and the MC! I wire-brushed all surface rust then applied rustoleum primer/paint, pulled old carpet myself and had new carpet installed, fixed low voltage from perfect pass (new ground from dash and re-route PP power wire to ignition switch), replaced bilge float switch, added another battery with blue seas add a battery kit, refinished old teak, and, of course, waxed the boat and cleaned/303 upholstery.

The weather needs to get nicer so I can spend my money on gas for the boat instead of parts for the boat!
