I love that boat tow rig combo! I can't imagine rolling up to the launch with that...

Any news on these? Website says available in June.... Just thought someone might know something. I bought my new boat w/o tower speakers planning on adding these when released.

Last I heard it was August, but ship dates on new products frequently change several times. I hate to sound vague, but until I see them I wouldn't put too much stock in estimated ship dates. Too many variables at play that could change the date.

I have 4 across the tower of my 16 X30, pushed by a bridged 800/8 amp. The sound quality and projection of these compared to the 7.7's with a 600/4 is night and day.

Mostly true. The M770 'T' tower speakers correctly powered compete with anything for near field sound quality, including much larger speakers. But even with four of them, it's not a speaker that will project over a long distance with the same authority as the M880s. The M880 will get loud!

They are deafening... and we have a bridged M400/4 powering 2 of them.

Has anyone done a side by side test next to the wetsound rev8 or rev10? I think I'm going to go buy the JL's at ABT tomorrow, just wanted a little feed back before the purchase. I'll be using the JL600/6 bridged to push 2 of them

Reach out to Odin at Earmark Marine (or Earmark Car Audio). Odin has the Wetsounds Rev8, Rev10, and the JL Audio M880s, all side by side on active display. Odin is an authorized on-line dealer for both brands. He'll give you the same discounts and final price with no hassle. Most important, Odin can give you the knowledgeable set-up, tuning and technical support that ABT can not provide.
