I am in no way shape or form taking away from the beauty and elegance of these StanCrafts. If these guys have the money to build something custom, go for it. They are TOTALLY cool!!

That said, building a utilitarian boat out of wood would be a nightmare if you actually want to use a pontoon as a pontoon or a wakeboat as a wakeboat. I would be a nervous wreck even sitting in it!!

So this is a 100% wooden hull or is it using an X30 as a base. Pretty cool either way. Reminds me of the old 1994 Correct Craft Paragon, but those were wood overlaid.

To me, this forum is about love of inboard boats. It is about the sharing of information and, on a good day, some humor. It is not about post count, brand of boat, or any other superfluous labels that lend themselves to a false sense of superiority. Please, respect one another, try to pass on accurate information, and keep your eye on the ball.

I agree. More art than a functioning wakeboard boat. I love the looks though.

They are so darn heavy that they have huge wakes and surf amazing. I was behind one when the it was built 2 or 3 years ago from Stancraft. They know what they are doing!!

Photos from Miami Boat Show...

Last one, not a Mastercraft... was seen hanging out at the Cigarette Racing booth.
Boat has the Ilmor 7.4 and price of $275,000. Don't know how much the car was but probably a lot more than the boat.

Thanks for the pictures. Hopefully Stancraft will be bringing one back home so I get to see it in person.

I got to see this boat in person this week at the Miami boat show. It is truly a work of art. If I had an extra $275,000 I would be ordering one.

My father-in-law told me last night that he thought he saw the X-30 running around out in front of his place yesterday. He was right I just saw this picture on their page. I'll have to see what time they open up on Saturdays because I'll be out in Coeur d'Alene tomorrow with a couple of hours to kill while my daughters at swim practice.
