We have towed thousands of miles and as long as the winch strap is tight enough to relieve the pressure on the bow eye there is no need to do anything else.

This also allows the latch to act as as second connection to the trailer.

Thanks,

I just ordered #37. Not sure why mine is lower than AimHigher's order.

^^^ Beat me to it, got mine today too. Man this thing is beefy and well built. I can't wait to try it out. Huge improvement over the boat buddy, and I did not have any trouble with that But this thing is the real deal, unless you hit the darn thing at like 10 mph, which ain't happening with my boat, I see it lasting a lifetime.

It also came with an extended bow eye??? Question to the Ramp N Clamp folks, I have a 2013, I shouldn't need this right?

Lifetime is what we were shooting for. BTW we hit some hard enough to bend the winch post.

The bow eye is almost exactly what comes stock from MasterCraft so if yours is in good condition there is no need to switch.

Thanks,
RNC
