Pressure PLate for 89 Tristar

Drive Pressure Plate for 89 indmar tristar

Can any one tell me where I can order a new pressure plate (clutch) for an 89 tristar. This is the 351W (indmar)with the 1:1 transmission. I'll need to ship it to Australia.

I changed the started motor a couple of days ago to find pieces of clutch spring in the bell housing.

I haven't yet split the motor & trans, but can anyone tell me if this is a special or will I be able to use a standard ford clutch pressure plate from a car.

They are not clutch springs. They are springs, from the damper plate. The boat has a hydraulic clutch, located in the transmission.

ebasic power marine , discount inboard marine .... to get you started. http://www.skidim.com/prodinfo.asp?number=R140001

The replacement plate may look different, to what you presently have, but works the same.
