6.2 actually weighs less then the 6.0 because of the block, I went with the 6.0 for the free ballast weight.

I test drove the x-30 with the 5.7 slammed, plenty of power there. I went with the x-10 because my lake has a 22ft limit.

Congrats! You can't go wrong with the X30. If you do want more bottom end, swap the prop - night and day no matter which engine.

Prop makes more difference than the engine imo. However the 6.0 with the 15x12 prop is pretty unstoppable.

501, what is the top speed in your X-30 with the 6.0L? I have a customer that bare foots and the 5.7L tops out at ~40mph. I was hoping that the 6L gets 44mph.

With the 15x12 prop it tops out around 38 but I can't tell you what the stock prop would do, I've never used either my 5.7 or my 6.0 with anything other that the high alt prop and the 15x12. It would definitely be in the 40's though.
