The boat sold. I got slightly more than asking. Had three people bidding on it from three different states (FL, KS, & MN). The first one at my house with with cash took it home same day.

Miss it already...

Hey...been a long time since I've been on team talk. Do t sell your boat for so cheap. The rarity alone commands a higher price and I can assure you there is no better boat on the water for a true footer. I miss mine badly. I got above asking. Get it out on multiple forums.

Best

I have a 1992 Barefoot Sanger that doesn't get a lot of use. It has a 200 Yamaha and runs at 6,000 RPMs. Depending on prop choice, that's 55-62 mph. We bought it as a second boat to go with our MC 197. We are die hard MasterCraft fans, but Sanger has the best barefoot wake by far.

PM me if interested. It's not listed anywhere, but everything is for sale.

What is the ski wake like? Looking for the flattest and softest around.
Thanks

Sanger produces the flattest and softest around. Barefoot Central did a review of all the barefoot boats and their wake characteristics several years ago.

Here's the link to the boat review if you're interested. A lot goes into the wake though...engine, boat weight, propeller, trim, engine depth, etc.

It's been a while since I skied off the BF200. I recall the curl being great, but the table/prop wash area being quite choppy and firm. Keep in mind, that is in comparison to an outboard Flightcraft and outboard Sanger. It's all in what you're used to.

Based purely on the wake, my preferences are Outboard Sanger, then an inboard Malibu Sportster, then in a distant 3rd Malibu Flightcraft, then BF200. Again, that's based purely on the wake, without regard to overall boat fit/finish.

If you're really interested in buying a barefoot boat, head to Florida and hit the barefoot schools. WBC uses old Sanger hulls, and if they are still skiing, I believe Seipel still uses an old BF200 hull and Lane Bowers uses an old Flightcraft hull. I don't know how much Seipel and Bowers pull skiers anymore though.

I'm not trying to put any boat/brand above/below another. I loved my TT197. I bought the outboard Sanger purely for barefooting to complement the 197, based upon what I believe is the best longline wake available.

You could also post your question on the barefoot-forum.com to see what other barefooters say.
