If the screws are a little too long, use your hack saw and shorten them a little to what ever size you need.

Yeah, I thought about that. I will just stay with what I have now that they are back in place. Thanks for the suggestion.

Mike,
ALL tools are nice to have... I love tools. Where did you order your torque from? I was thinking of getting one from Harbor Freight, but you have to be very careful with their tools. I've gotten some really good ones and some really bad ones. Fortunately we have one within less than 10 mi. so I can at least take a look at what I'm buying.

Harbour Freight... I will prolly turn less than a 100 bolts it the time I have it. I bought a POS low volume compressor 10 years ago... lol - bought to drive some air brushes and fill tires... damn thing won't die...lol.

I also always read reviews... reviews to me trump any promises a manufacturer can herald. for example i caught an add for www.tommiecopper.com compression clothing... they flooded the web with all their info...seen this many times before... I see this as deception.. I do the same with tools... can't get a review - I will pay more for a known brand.

Reviews are definitely helpful. I read them too. With an open mind. Problem is, many times on the same tool you can get opposing opinions. Depends on who and how that person uses the tool. Get some guy that has no idea of what it is intended for, and he will break it. On the other hand....an inexpensive tool, in the right hands, may be just good enough to do the job really well and last for many more.
