They were nice cars, for sure.

Are you sure your brothers car was a '75? Maybe it was a '74? I think the SD's were only produced in '73 & '74.

Mentioning that reminds me of the details. The PO had blown the 400 and replaced it with a '74 SD455. Good catch.

Correct, SD 455 was produced in 73 & 74. 74 looks like a 75 except for the grille texture and wraparound rear window which was introduced in 75.

My Mom had a white 74 SD 455 automatic when I was in 4th - 5th grade. Could easily pick her out in the after school carpool line.

Anyone see the Fast N Loud TA build? They had me until they put on the hood bird with a monkey head.

That was a nice upgrade!! I have wanted a '73 SD for a long time. I bid on one in Indy last spring at the Mecum Auction, but it went over what I was willing to pay. There is another one circling the rounds now. It didn't sell in September in Dallas and is listed to be back up on the block in Kissimmee in January. I hope it makes it to Indy in May.

Yeah it was pretty cool to see, and I'd love to go back. Only scary part was that it was really gusty, and temps were triple digits.

Perhaps a better image is in order. As cool a pic as there is.
