2002 maristar windshield removal.. How to?

The frame on my windshield is looking it's age, I want to remove the frame and paint it. I removed some screws on the frame itself then tried to pull the frame up and apart to no avail. How does one take the windshield apart?

I'm doing this project in the next week or 2 on a 2002 x9. Can post some pictures up when I do it if you want.

If I could make a suggestion... I'd recommend not removing the windows... When I touched mine up, I covered up the windows with painters tape and newspaper, and gave it a smooth coat of rattlecan glossy black. If theres any overspray, use acetone.

If you drop that window and it breaks, your next post will be a WTB thread.
