thanks man, figuring out the texture was a PITA, i was originally gonna wrap it in carbon vinyl but i didnt like how it looked, then i was gonna use plain plastic paint but the difference in textures from the plastic and the repair were not gonna look right, so when i went to pick up the filler primer i saw the paint that i used on mu bronco and that was what i used, duplicolor rattle can bedliner.....

Really impressive results! What type of metal did you use for reinforcement? How thick? Last time I pulled the dash to test a gauge I noticed some cracking and would like to reinforce. I didn't think there was enough room to fit the metal without having to sand/grind the fibreglass pod. I hope it all goes back together smoothly. Again, it looks fantastic!

i amp going to have to sand the dash pod a bit to accommodate the repair but im good with that, as for the metal, i have to go to ACE hardware and look at the package, its very thin strap metal, very flexible.... thanks for the picture of the graphics, luckily i found close ups by doing LOTS of web searching......
