My wife has a seriously old ski

It's a Connelly Concept from '91 or '92, she found a cheap Connely Rocket from the same era, and seems to enjoy them equally, but is leaning towards the rocket a little more. I'd like to get her a new ski, but am unsure what I should get her. Here's a video of her skiing, she starts at 1:22.

To me, she does not look that bad. Looks good enough to run a green ball course (mini course)... I think she’d benefit from a new ski... Those old skis are like cinder blocks with a binding on – they weigh a ton!!

Try a Radar or an HO.

She pulls the course at 15 off at 30ish MPH. Usually about 4-5 bouys.

she'll run it on a new ski with new technology and probably 2 mph faster.

A new ski would help her a bunch and would be a great Christmas present! You might consider a Connelly "V" or if you want to spend a bit more the "Carbon "V". She will love you for it.

Shoot, get her a goode carbon fiber. You ALWAYS want the wife happy on the water. Agree with the others as well, the technology has changed so much since then...even a good HO will change her life.

I went from a Concept to the V this year. 15 off 30-32. Very happy with the change once I set it up.

Get her a nice cross ski like a HO Couture CX - Radar Senate, or V - nice ski's - you can also save $$$ by finding older years on EBAY and ski-it-again.

Her form is very good. - Most skis made in the last decade are decent. I have a friend that skis a 10 year old KD - awesome ski...

The rat here skis a Monza I believe and rips the course really well - (very jealous of this of course -

profile says X-5 but you guys ski behind and outboard?

That's the in-laws 91 Sea-Ray. Nice wake for skiing, but it can't haul me out of the water with its tiny 115HP Merc. I've hung on for nearly a minute, but still nothing. That's me two years ago in the vid. Only about the 5th time I ski'd.

We just bought the X-5 last month. Haven't even been behind it yet.
