03 230 VRS Tower Suggestions?

ND? Will my MC Dealer have an OEM option? I think I'm going to let the dealer install regardless I'm pretty handy but now is not the time or place for trial and error.

Good question. I've basically got the same boat you do, and have been contemplating putting a tower on it, but would prefer one with a factory look from the first X-30.

ND will be identical to the 01-04 tower. iirc, in 05 they all got the newer tower with the swivel racks. the ND route is probably alot cheaper.

I recently put a New Dimensions tower on my 2001 Maristar 210VRS. I really like the way the ND tower looks on the boat.
I installed the tower myself, and it really wasn't difficult.
I was very pleasantly surprised to find that my boat had the aluminum backing plates already glassed in place for the ND tower. That is another reason to go with the ND tower. You should already have the reinforcing backing plates in your boat that will line up with the ND tower bolts. If you are handy you may consider installing yourself. There are good instructions with the tower, Wayne at ND will email them to you in advance and answer any questions. You can also find lots of good tips online. One of the best tip I found was to use a couple strong magnets to locate bolt placement on inside / outside before drilling.

^ I just found their website with a picture of a boat exactly like mine (color as well) with their tower and I liked the way it looks. Still going to be a while before ill be able to get one though. Definitely not a small purchase.

03 230 VRS Tower Suggestions?

Installed full size NDT on 2000 Maristar 210 in winter of 2012. I would say it ranks as our best upgrade. Even better than Stargazer PP. helps with storage, keeps bimini nice and high, and obviously provides better pull angle for boarders. Personally, i think it wii give your model boat a bit more attitude.

Ours is rock solid. No rattle even in rough water. One person can fold down frontwards within a minute. I can't imagine our boat without one anymore.
