Help with custom seat / box behind driver on 2001 X5

Hi guys

I have a 2001 X5 and have seen some later models with a seat / recliner installed standard behind the drivers seat. This creates additional seating and extra dry storage which we need.

I am planning to make one but has anybody done this before and can you share your pearls of wisdom? Any photos for inspiration?
