Should I buy a 2001 prostar 209?

It's an 01 prostar 209 Sammy Duvall. What should I know about the boat and what do you guys guess the price should be? The interior is new but hour meter is broken, the boat is immaculate. What options where available and anybody had ay issues with is boat?
Pics?
Thanks.

You should take boat to an MC dealer and have them read the data in the ECU first. And I would probably pay this or less. http://www.onlyinboards.com/Details.aspx?ID=37472

+2 on the MC dealer inspection. Pay the money and have it done, if the seller has not had it done already. Lots of unseen things the dealer will uncover. Anything can be fixed, the new interior may be a plus. $ amount ? that could be anywhere from 20k on up. Has the hull had the hook added at the rear? This year has been known to porpoise (sp) and '03 i think had the hook added. This will have doubler plates glassed into the deck at tower bolt thru locations (New Dimension).

I would say in good condition and you love the boat 22-24 grand. Depending on dealer inspection.

My first Mastercraft was a 2001 209. Absolutely loved the boat, only sold it because we were such big fans of the X2.

I agree, get it inspected carefully. Very hard to determine what you should pay until you really know what you are getting.

Not sure what a 01 190 has to do with a 209.

209 prices seem to be way up this year for some reason. All depends on quality obviously but I agree with the 22-24 range
