Birthday surprise

Last Wednesday I had a birthday and because I was out of town did not get to celebrate it with the family. When I got home, my wife surprised me with a rather unexpected present. She handed me a kayak paddle and told me the kayak was to follow, but I had to go pick it out. It is a Jackson Cuda 12, fishing kayak. It has some pretty cool features and I am pretty pumped about it and cannot wait to get it and try it out. Does anyone else do the fishing kayak thing or have a Cuda 12?

We float the river regularly (mantee kayaks) no fishing though. Happy birthday, enjoy your new kayak.

Happy Birthday

beware of fast moving rivers, they are dangerous.

Unless you have a roll and a dedicated boat.

Umm, wow. I do not plan on going on rivers like that. That is pretty insane.

The wife is a pretty cool wife, I have to admit. I got her a kayak for Christmas that she asked for and she got to try it out for the first time on Friday. She really liked it and we look forward to taking some little jaunts on the yaks together. Here is my wife and 4 yr old son enjoying the maiden voyage.

Happy Birthday! Sounds like you have a cool wife. kayak's are fun. You can get them in places you cant with a boat.
