Wanted Mastercraft X7/Prostar 197

Hello,

This is my first post to the forums! I'm the president of the University of Wisconsin-Madison's waterski and wakeboard team. We are looking to purchase a new boat for this upcoming spring season. We are looking for something similar to the Mastercraft X7/Prostar 197. We need a tournament level hull for our waterski practice and our wakeboarders would really enjoy the full size tower and ballast. We'd be willing to road trip anywhere in the country to pick up the right boat. Right now we are looking to spend $30k or less (hopefully less).

Let me know if you guys have anything for sale, or if you have any ideas for any other models that would match our requirements. We looked at prostar 205's but would like something newer.

They do sponsor us, but at this point in time nothing in their used inventory fits our needs.

I had (2) people look at my X-7 this past weekend. I've got (1) guy requesting a test drive once the ice thaws on the lake for us to do so. (maybe today)

D3Skier, that tournament Team Mastercraft is definitely slick, I think we'll need something with a tower though. (Have to keep the wakeboard side of the team happy) I guess if I could find a Prostar 197 for around 27000, then I supposed i'd have enough money to put a tower on it myself.

barefoot I checked out redline's website, and their inventory was pretty much empty as far as used boats. Perhaps I'll shoot them an email and see if they know of any other boats for sale in the area.

Does anyone have any other good sites to look at besides ski it again and only inboards?

2002 X7 It has almost 1400hrs for $23000. Seller says he motivated. Might be able to get a good deal if you can see past the hrs.
