[03 35th Anniversary]

Not sure how many of you have seen this in the news.

But Chris Kyle and Chad Littlefield were both from Midlothian, Tx. where I live and grew up at.

They were both older than me so I didn't really know them. I kinda knew Chris Kyle's younger brother which was still about 3 years ahead of me.

Sad story and end to a true American hero. I saw the interview with Chris and Bill O'reilly and applauded his perspective that every kill he made protected Americans. It is also sad that the man who killed Chris and Chad also served. My heart goes out to all families involved..

Did you happen to see the bone head tweet from Ron Paul that said of this hero "if you live by the sword you die by the sword". And I thought Ron had some good ideas. He just lost a ton of points in my book. Apparently Ron thinks that all soldiers should be shot when they return from serving their country. Nice guy.

Wow, I never really minded Ron Paul, but i have a huge issue with this. That is a horrible lapse in judgement and ignorant statement.

Yeah, I have been keeping up with it in the news. To have survived 4 tours in Iraq, then surviving a gunpoint carjacking when he returned, it sucks to hear about him being killed by someone he was trying to help.
