Ski and Wakeboard Off Season Storage Racks
I am in the process of figuring out a storage rack for our various ski's and boards. I am looking for some inspiration, post up pics of your off season set up.

all types of ideas here. I just use standard L brackets for shelving and bent them a bit upwards. Also home depot sells some "bike racks" that anchor to the wall. These work really well for boards. They have a hook to use a bungie cord to keep things in place if you are worried about bumping them. 5 bucks a piece if I recall and you don't end up with a ton of wood on the walls. http://www.homedepot.com/catalog/pro...806704_300.jpg |

Board Rack
I made this out of about $18 worth of parts that I picked up at The Home Depot. It works really well for our purposes. I drilled the 2x4's about half way through to place the dowel into. I then screwed it in from the back and side after glueing with wood glue and attached the whole thing to studs using 4" lag screws. I am pretty sure it is strong enought that I could do pull ups on it but I am not willing to try.

I went quick, cheap, and easy. Got this from Overton's. It suits my garage since it lays flat against the wall. We have 4 wakeboards and 2 sets of combo skis in it. Basically two straps with many adjustable buckles, and two hanger hooks.

Ladder-Rack-Waterski-Storage-System[/quote] This is what I use. Its not the prettiest thing in the world but at the time i bought them (overtons) they were $9 each so I bought 3. In the pic it has some stuff out of it. I store everything you see plus a wakeboard and a surfboard. It holds quite a bit of stuff.

I used bike hooks similar to onewheats but just the single lag screw type hooks. Cheap, quick and easy to install.

Brooksfam - That is a great idea!! All of the brackets would then be height adjustable for each board type.
