Nice boat, looks clean
Just an FYI, that is not the original X-Star hull, that would be the 96 and up hull

thanks, edited, still a nice wake, IMO. with a few people on board, throws a much better wake than my 2009 moomba mobius lsv did, w/ lots of ballast and a wake plate.
I'll admit the wake surfing isn't as good though, you may need: http://www.wakemakers.com/direct-dri...t-package.html Last edited by lukerussell; 11-20-2012 at 09:20 AM. |

81 degrees today, nobody wants a few days in the sun?
more info: the boat spent it's entire life in northern alabama (freshwater). the previous owner was a farmer and kept it a big storage building indoors. i keep it under a bunch of shady oaks so the sun doesn't get to it. i bought it in april 2011 and it's only been in freshwater in florida. specifically, the caloosahatchee river in Alva, FL - north of the locks. washed and flushed after every use. the boat cover is really nice, a brand new custom sunbrella cover - dark brown, cost over $800. if you want more pics, let me know. exactly. there are plenty of sediments and minerals in fresh water, especially in the shallow areas by the boat ramp where they're being stirred up by boats. you don't want that mud and dirt sitting in there until the next time you take it out. flushing, in my opinion, is always a good idea. it takes 5 minutes and can be done while wiping down the boat. my hose is hooked up to an RO system (reverse osmosis) so the water is as pure and fresh as could be. it's like i'm flushing the boat with perrier.
