So what do you use your prostar in-floor cooler for?

Thought that this might be a topic of interest...

I have never used mine as a cooler, maybe I should? I use mine to store my box anchor and rope.

Empty beer cans. The cold ones stay in an igloo.

Strangely enough, I use mine as a cooler. Saves floor space and they don't work that bad. Keeps drinks cold for an afternoon anyway.

^^^ This. (When I had the 190)
Perfect size of a day trip trash can and if it got nasty, could wash it into the bilge.
That's one thing the newer MC's are lacking is an integrated trash can or at least a good spot to put one. We got billet everything and more electronics than the space shuttle, but gotta use a plastic bag blowing around in the cockpit for trash (mostly empties).

I hear that... trash can is lacking on all vintages.

My cooler has a drain hole too and had a plug on a chain that had fallen apart. I was able to find a replacement at the hardware store. It is still hard to get it to seal very well. You can twist it to increase the diameter, but then it is hard to close. It kind of works.

I use it to hold old slimy course buoys after I have to replace them with new ones. At least in there, they won't roll around in the boat staining my puff interior.

I use mine as a battery holder. I also inserted a live-well drain plug from the outside (from under the floor) to stop the madness. No water in the new battery box.
