Talking Perfect weight.

Hi I have a 2006 x45 with the 8.1 and I'm looking for any suggestions on a perfect wake. We have a 400lb sac in each locker and another in the middle but we are looking to add more weight.

I can't help ya with the weight, but you might post what exactly your wanting to do with the wake, how many people usually go, and what gear your taking along as all make a difference. Good luck

Before this is too far gone, the perfect weight for what? What are you carrying for people and gear? What speed and line are you riding? What tricks are you doing and working on?

I have a 2012 X45 and the wake is awesome. Im running the stock 1000lbs, plus the plug and play with two 750's and 2 250's. With 2000lbs extra this wake is huge. My best friend prfers to ride my wake rather than his loaded out Xstar with twice as much ballast. I ride at 80' @ 25.5mph. the wake is awesome

I rarley max the sacks out in the rear and usually run them half full and I think the waKe is awesome. I like just filling the rears which makes the wake extra peaky. But I only do this when minimal people are in the boat. The X45 is a very underrated wakeboard wake.

He doesnt run 6K but he is running about 3500-4000 total. im right at about 2500lbs but the X45 weights a good bit more. The wake is amazing. I think the stock wake was better than my VLX stock IMO.

Ya thanks for the help we have been trying different set ups lately for wakeboarding and my wake has now been chosen to film a boardco vid. We are now running the stock ballast then 400's in the lockers a 750 down the middle with a 400 on the rear seat and another 550 bow sac. The wake is like a huge wall! And we usually have 4 people and gear in the boat. But ya as you said mastercraftdave u have to go faster around 25.5mph
