Question 2003 X-7 & Clarion Amp

I love my boat! I bought it new in 2004. For the first few summers the bigger amp would cut out once in a while. This bigger amp is for all the inboard speakers and the woofer (all speakers except the tower). I thought it was due to over heating, and because it worked 90% of the time - I lived with it. The last couple summers - it worked always. This summer nothing. I played with the wiring, checked the fuses. Ocassionally and randomly for a very small amount of time (3 seconds), it will work. Yes the led is lit-up always when I turn the stereo on. I miss the thumping of that bass when I play a little Disturbed before boarding and skiing. Anybody got any ideas?

Are your RCA connections all tight from the head unit all the way to the amp?
All speaker connections tight and corrosion free?

The RCA connections are very good. I will check all speaker connections this weekend. Thanx!

It's fried. Time for a wetsounds upgrade. Do some wire swapping. Switch your RCA from the other tower speaker amp and see if you get anything. Is it just the woofer not working but the boat speakers do work or are all speakers on this amp not working? Poll choices are very confusing.

Sorry about the poll confusion - it expires very soon. It is all speakers, except for the tower speakers (which are on the smaller amp). I will again switch the rca wires which is very easy. I am guessing that one bad connection to any one of the non-tower speakers causes it to cut-out. I will update next week after I look at it this weekend. PS: your boat is awesome!
