X2 Surfing
Looking for advice regarding the trim tab(s) for surfing with my 07' X2. I have a single center tab. Should this be up or down for surfing? Would it help to add separate P + S tabs on each side, as well? Otherwise, I seem to do well with factory ballasts, as well as a fat sac in back compartment on side of surfer. BTW, what does "KGB" ballast stand for? Thanks for any comments!

Typically if the center tab is up the wake is steeper and shorter and as you put it down it gets longer and more shallow top to bottom. Most people put the center tab at 30-60 depending on weight and setup. Surf tabs do help make the wake longer. The more weight the better it'll be.

See this post, everything on proper weighting set up should have you all set.

I run with mine (center tab) up. It is intended to flatten the wake for skiing..........
Will be adding the wakemakers piggyback 455lb bag to the port locker next week when it gets here.
