Wanted...vent thingy on my 86 engine cover
The vent exit for my engine cover. 86 454 powerslot. Any of these around? Also, just in case there is one around, the rear bench seat. I know there are a lot of these in storage somewhere...

What are people willing to pay for something like that? I've noticed lots of people looking for the doghouse vent, and front and rear air intake vents for the older 80s boats. I have the means of cutting these from billet aluminum, but it would have to make sense. Aluminum blocks aren't exactly cheap, so I guess I'd need to know what sort of budget people are on for something like this. The piece could also be powdercoated any color you'd like, or left a raw aluminum color. Anodizing would also be an option, as would chrome. Anodizing and chrome would add a bit to the price, but I'm just curious.
Are people willing to pay 50, 100, 150? More?

Is anyone close to their boat today? Can you give me length, width, and depth measurements? We have this really cool tool that I can actually pull the vent piece off, and scan it with a laser to make an exact replica, but I'm not close to the foundry at the moment to use it. I have about every combination of CNC's, and other machining tools at my disposal, I just need to draw it in CAD and run the numbers on material cost, then make it worth my while. I sent an email asking for a rough estimate, I'll keep you posted.
