Wanted: 94-98 prostar - 13 K approx

Hey everyone, looking for a 94-98 prostar. Any advice on finding a good deal for my first boat is appreciated immensely.

From, a die hard for slalom & a first time boat buyer.

Cheers

I just picked up an 06 X30 and need to sell my 92 ProStar 205. I doubt you will find a boat of that era in better condition than mine. Fiberglass is nearly perfect, trailer is in awesome shape, interior is all original with the exception of the rear seat bottom which I had re-covered two years ago. Color is mostly white with royal blue sides and gray interior. Blue snap-on covers and tower mounted bimini. Also has the gray, factory storage cover. It has a rock solid custom tower. No bling to speak of: no tower speakers, upgraded stereo with one subwoofer, amp and an i-pod connection. It does have a shower and upgraded 4-blade OJ prop (and original 3-blade as a spare). Engine is 351, 285hp - all original and runs great. I have always done my own maintenance and always garage kept. I am the second owner - I bought it in 96 with 30 hrs on it and it now has 680hrs. I'm asking $10k - firm. We have always loved and babied this boat but we have finally outgrown it and just don't slalom much anymore. Let me know if you are interested in photos or more info.
John.

Possibly if I really struggle to find a direct inject motor. Thanks for your inquiry.

TTU, funny stuff. One lady tried scamming me on this exact boat. Found the actual owner finally off eBay. Contacted to buy, he sold it locally before the eBay sale finished.

Thanks, try again (:

Troy, that search includes 3 different variations of the Pro Star 190 hull. Any reason for that year range?

To me, this forum is about love of inboard boats. It is about the sharing of information and, on a good day, some humor. It is not about post count, brand of boat, or any other superfluous labels that lend themselves to a false sense of superiority. Please, respect one another, try to pass on accurate information, and keep your eye on the ball.

Just the years I was informed to look for by other boat owners.. I would like direct inject, so that's why 1994 is the oldest & I just assumed 1998 would be all I could afford
