WTB: MC $12k or less

Hi everyone,

Now that I am done with school I am looking to get myself back on the water before Spring hits. I'm open to most Mastercrafts, as long as they are 1984 or newer. Preferably, I'd love to get something from the low to mid 1990's if possible. I'm pretty positive that this price range I will be limited to Prostar 190 models.

If anyone knows of any MC's out there in this price range, or comes across any, I'd really appreciate a heads up. I love the early 2000s 197's but I just don't think it's smart to undertake any further debt (damn student loans!!)

Where are you located and how far are you willing to travel? I am in the market as well and search most every day, but not all are within a comfortable drive. Mostly, I just haven't found a low enough hour pristine example. I realize a person can always ship it. P.M. me and I will what I have seen if it is a match for you. What are you going to use it for?

I'm in Michigan. I'm willing to travel within reason if need be. I dont want to drive to CA or FL for a boat though. I plan on mainly using for wakeboarding, surfing, some skiing, and definitely a lot of just hanging out. I don't know how PM on here works?! I'd love to take a look at anything you have come across.

I know you don't want to travel to FL from Michigan but coming from Jim and BAWS, I would think it is safe to say this boat is in fantastic condition. A lot of folks on this forum have dealt with Jim and have nothing but good things to say about his dealership.

Plus that is one sweet looking prostar!
