Decal/wrap removal

I'm going to be changing the decal scheme on my 2008 TT. Currently it has the factory decals (the flat black MC cutout and the red TT badges on the side) and I'm wondering what's the best way to remove them? Just peel them off? Warm them up with a hairdryer?

I'm doing this in favor of the 2011 TT (white hull) decal kit which should look pretty bada$$ on my black hull. Anyone else out there done this to their 2008 TT or seen it done?

Use a hair dryer, that way most of the adhesive will come off with the decal. Use Goo Gone to remove any remaining adhesive, it won't do the gel coat any harm.

3M makes a great product that comes in an aersol spray can. Don't recall the name but I used it to remove the stickers from our PWC before I refinished it. Bought it at one of the auto parts stores in the paint section.
