I have a 2007 X-45. Recently, my tower started to move around a lot (not just your usual shake), and it turns that the rear starboard mount (behind the driver) was crazy loose.
That mount is held down by two hex bolts that appear to be held down by a nut under the gunwale. I looked under the gunwale where the mount goes in, and there's a very small opening to reach in and access the bottom of the bolts. The problem is that the opening is right under the rear (aft) bolt, and it literally seems impossible that a hand with any conventional tool (e.g. a spanner wrench) can fit in there to grab the fore bolt. Does anyone have tips on tightening this part of the tower? Thanks. |

Once you tighten it up if it still shakes to much for you try getting the braces put...thats what i did to my 07 x45 and it still shakes but not as much as it use to!
