X7 Ballast Bag Size???
Does anyone know the physical dimensions of the factory installed rear underseat bag on the x7? I am looking to install an aftermarket bag in my 197 under the rear seat.

I want to have one made for my 197, also. I was thinking if I got the dimensions of with the seat in the sunpad location, I could have one custom made here: |

We have done a number of swaps from the factory bag to the BI Rear Seat Bottom Bag. Unfortunately, in order to get the factory ballast hoses to work, you have to have a custom sac made with the same dimensions as the seat bottom bag, but with the valves located differently than the stock bag. The BI bag basically doubles the weight, improving the wake quite a bit. Hope this helps!

I was thinking about this bag:
http://www.wakeside.com/product/boat...ar+seat+sac.do Its 62" x 26" x 12". Not sure if it will fit, haven't measured my boat yet (its a few miles away as well). I was thinking I could move the back seat up to the sundeck position, allowing enough room for this bag. |

Thanks - I was going to do my own plumbing anyways, therefore I should be able to make the stock bag work. Looking at various posts, the plumbing and electrical doesn't look too hard (I will be nervous drilling holes for the vent and drain thru hulls).
Any quick tips/pitfalls to watch out for doing this ballast install? |
