Admittedly, Kevkan has a point. However, I have been surfing behind a Prostar 209 for five years with about 450lbs on the port and rear sides (900 total). You can make a wave, but it does put the boat in an awkward driving position and it puts water right at the top of the gunwale when surfing at 10.5mph.

If it were up to me, I would advise you to trade runs at the slalom course with some guy in a wake boat, and them make good friends.
