With all the cool water available to intercool a turbo'd engine, this would be the ticket to a higher efficiency boat.

Like you said, the problem is that you can't cool the exhaust until after the turbo, so the now dry exhaust manifolds and the turbine would be HOT.

Boat with a cooling fan, anyone?
