11K is fine. 10K is better. At 10K, if it has the 4010 carb, you have some money to plop down on a 4160, and trust me, you'll want to do that (remove the cowl and see if it has two fuel feeds on the starboard side of the carb---that's the 4010). When it was a 94 at $11k, and now it's a 92, you don't have to worry about telling the seller why you want it for less.

That said, despite the wonderfulness of fuel injection, you can bolt on some mid range torque to that 351HO without much trouble or too much $$. They are all sorts of fun.

Be sure to hit up the FAQ section and print out the boat buyer's guide. It's helpful to have some ideas of what to look at so you don't just sit there and excitedly look at that pretty boat.
