Taking it apart wasn't the challenging part for me when doing my friend's 2013. Putting it back together was less than fun. I'd like to know who was the genius that decided going with a removable keyway was a better idea than a spline shaft. Before I do my next one I'm definitely ordering a couple spare woodruff keys to have on hand. I didn't lose the original but Murphy's law would put odds that one get's dropped into the bilge a some time or another and most likely when you can least afford to not have it.

As a side note I used some silicone grease in the keyway to hold the pin in place and that seemed to work well but I really would prefer not to have that added part to deal with if I were changing the impeller out while out on the water and everything moving around.
