Ha! I got the sticker shock last year and postponed re-doing our railing. Now I'm looking at it again. I'll definitely be contacting VistaView, thanks for the info. A couple questions:

I see you only ran 7 cable runs. How high is your rail, 36"? My existing railing is 42" which I think may be required by our local code. And what is your cable spacing? The research I've done so far looks like 3" minimum spacing is required. If I can go wider than that, I would. With 3" spacing and 42" high rail, I'm looking at 13 runs .
