So I visit the first body shop yesterday for an estimate. The estimator went for a new front door right away because it's pushed enough to open the gap between the two doors. He was on the fence about a new rear door so I asked him to write it up as two so I could get a barometer on the cost. So, with two doors and pulling the bed to properly blend the metallic paint it was $4,600 and about 45 man hours.

Today I have an appt for the insurance company to look at it. I'm expecting them to tell me a guy with a good buffing pad and a nail polish bottle of black paint should have it cleaned up in an about 3 hours......
