The Actuator went in without a hitch. The female connector did the existing ones.
The instructions did say that the stainless steel shaft should be mounted in the down position so that if any water got in there it would drain out of the tube.
1. Mount with motor toward rear of boat.
2. Stainless shaft, towards front of boat.
This way when the sundeck is closed the stainless tube will be lower than the motor.
Do you know of any way to make the motor run faster? Did you replace an old one and notice a difference in speed with the new one? Mine has the original one in there and its fast enough for me but many people on my boat have complained they wish it was faster. I really don't care, as long as it works. But just curious as to when mine goes out.
