My manual goes through great lengths to show how to drain the trans but I have a ZF 630V and all the searching I've done doesn't show any drains. Am I right to think that the only water contact with the transmission is through the water cooler up near the raw water pump on my 1999 Maristar with a 5.7l?
You are correct, the only water is in the cooler. There isn't any in your trans.
Gone, out doing soft recreational past time with overpowered boat! But only when the water is warm. Otherwise I'm just sitting in the hot tub because I'm soft.
