As a closed bow die hard, I can see a practical advantage of this setup. In short, it is hinged at the front. So you open the windshield, lift the bow and deposit or withdraw whatever gear you need. I can store a lot in the closed bow of my boat. But retrieving that vest that is stuffed up under the nose can be tricky without removing everything else. In this configuration, you loose a little storage for the seat pedestals, but you gain ease of access.
Just an observation from another CB purist.

To me, this forum is about love of inboard boats. It is about the sharing of information and, on a good day, some humor. It is not about post count, brand of boat, or any other superfluous labels that lend themselves to a false sense of superiority. Please, respect one another, try to pass on accurate information, and keep your eye on the ball.
