Ok look here's the deal if you have a bone stock intake manifold with the original carburetor spacer you install the vavuum gauge into the port on the spacer, and just leave the PCV valve open for the duration of the test, there is no need to remove the rear port that is plugged with an allen bolt. If you replaced your intake manifold with a edelbrock or weiand you likely installed a port for your pcv already if you didn't reuse the factory carburetor spacer, if the spacer was reused than again use that port. Some later carburetor's had a manifold vacuum port that was plugged if your carburetor has this port use it. Many ways to get manifold vacuum, but by far the easiest way is to go through existing pcv port
