And to Mikeg205: I'm thinking that a trans pull is the only solution. I might could get the bolts out (maybe) but just can't see that there is enough room to even get the filter out after that.
Based on that, I'm guessing that I won't be the first to ignore the 100 hr filter cleaning
I change my trans fluid every season - always looks brand new when I suck it out. I plan to pull mine at 1000 hours... when I do additional maintenance... unless I have another freakin' long winter like this year...
