Th speedi-sleeve is the only way to address the issue. Replacing the entire hollow shaft that runs through the transmission is an extremely difficult an expensive job. There is a service manual for the transmission but it does not show the speedi-sleeve installation and tells you that you have to disassemble the transmission to replace the seal. You don't have to. The seal can be removed fron the outside. You can get the parts from

The output shaft seal for the engine side is P/N 905214 and the speedi-sleeve kit is 905215. If they don't list them on their site, call them and they will get them for you.
