The boat looks great in the pictures, but I think your situation is you've put a lot of money into upgrades, making the boat really nice. At $8500 your are bumping up into the price range of something newer (granted not as nice maybe). There are a lot of '80's era boat around that haven't been reconditioned, that have low hours and are less money. My '89 PS190 with 325 hours and MC trailer was around $7K and didn't need anything. A lot of folks looking at '80's boats are thinking of spending $4000-$6500 and expecting the boat they buy might need upgrades 'down the road'. FWIW, I think you are too high in the asking price - maybe lower the asking price to $7999 - or even $7500 if possible? At $8500 people might be passing it by without really looking. You asked, so I think it's worth around $7000~$7500 to the right buyer. Good luck with the sale!
