I finally had a good day on the course last night. Kyle had me (reluctantly) slow the boat to 30 mph to fix my issues. Set #1, didn't do bad, but only completed 1 of my 6 passes. 2nd set, I nailed it - 6, 5, 5, 5, 6 and 6 buoys.
1. More strength as I am skiing more
2. Softer knees into the pre-turn and buoy
3. Rolling the ski from the outside edge, to the inside edge in the pre-turn / turn
4. Straight arms on the offside pull to 2 4 and 6, which got me there earlier, wider and eliminated the bus turns
And the best advice Kyle gave me last week - don't give up - scrap it out... if you make a mistake, keep skiing, you'll be surprised how much time you can make up.
I am BLISSFULLY SORE today and feel badarse!
