1995 Maristar with LT1
Just purchased a 1995 Maristar with a LT1 engine. This boat has a set up with a V-drive system so the engine actually sits in the boat backwards. My questions are:
With the front of the engine up close to the stern of the boat, how do you get at the water pump impeller to change it out?
Second question is that the raw water intake is directly above one of the bunk boards on the trailer thus not allowing me to connect a hose with a plunger type setup to start it while on the trailer. Can a person connect directly to the raw water intake hose with a hose from the house to properly cool the engine while on the trailer?
