I am going to do some slotted rotors and better brake pads this spring, since my trailer does not have brakes. Other than that, Im good to go. 4-wheel self leveling suspension works great, the factory trailer wiring is awesome, and it still drives like a BMW. I am thinking of upgrading to the turbo diesel X5 in a few years when they drop into my price point too.
I have chatted up a few owners at the ramp with the X5 diesels and they all love them for towing. They weren't towing MC's but they all loved the diesel in the X5's. How can you go wrong towing with a diesel??? I love towing with my diesel but mine doesn't come from Munich.
Tried to talk my old man into a X5 diesel but he decided he wanted the 4.8 gasser instead.
