kala, on my 205v, I surf with port locker 750# sac full, and nothing else (except all passengers sit on port side). My swim platform drags, though. I've tried weighting the bow, but it still drags. For my boat since my platform sits so low to begin with, it's best just to sink it so low that the water washes over it, and the wake is actually cleaner that way.
You may want to play with different configurations and see what works for your boat.
